Automated Market Maker
What's landed?
Traditionally, exchange on a centralized wallet means that a user and a buyer must be matched with a price that is agreed upon by both. This comes with a slew of issues for both parties.
For the buyer it means that to acquire more assets they must list a purchase price for them, and only receive what they purchased once a seller has been found. This means that while some transactions can happen quickly, there is no guarantee how long it might take.
In addition, this leaves opens the possibility that a listed transaction may not even occur.
When building Squirrel wallet it was clear that this solution was not good enough.
The Squirrel Wallet has a built-in automated market maker or (AMM) for short. This is an verifiable algorithm that automates price changes based on the market demand. Operating 24/7 there is no down time, and no delay for users interacting with their tokens.
This is what builds the foundation of the "decentralized" part of the Squirrel Wallet.
The fully decentralized nature means that Squirrel wallet users are able to:
- Purchase tokens without needing to wait for sellers
- Provide Liquidity with unused tokens to generate additional rewards in the form of LP tokens
- Stake their tokens to earn NUTS
- Stake or redeem their earned Liquidity Tokens

Exchange
Within the Squirrel Wallet, through our automated market maker, users are able to trade and exchange their tokens for any other supported tokens.
As the transaction is directly tied to the liquidity pool and will not need to rely on another user trading the opposite exchange pair. This means the exchange is instantaneous and completely autonomous.
Once complete, the tokens owned will be reflected and the record of the exchange can be viewed on the blockchain.
The Squirrel wallet's exchange and trade are done with very minimal cost and at an instant rate. This feature was built so that Squirrel Wallet users will have fast and full control of their tokens within the wallet.
Analytics
Token Performance
For Users looking invest their tokens, Squirrel Wallet offers built-in data analytics to track token performance. Users are able to seamlessly see how the cryptocurrencies markets are performing and gather data for their investments.
In this interface users will be able to see everything that's going on with tokens in the market such as:
- Trade Data of specific tokensPrice Changes
- Current Liquidity supply
- Existing Liquidity pool pairs
- Token Volume
Staking
Squirrel wallet will also track staking progress stats directly in the App. Here users will be able to get a gauged of how well their burying of their NUTS has been going.
Information such as:
- TVL (Total Value Locked)
- APR (Annual Percent Rate) - Broken into different time periods
- NUTS Earned - Broken into different time periods
Yield Farming
Farms
Squirrel Wallet users after earning their LP tokens though providing liquidity, will have the additional benefit of being able to invest these again into LP Farms.
Pool
Without providing liquidity, users of the Squirrel Wallet can still benefit from earning rewards though directly staking their NUTS and other tokens.
The more NUTS buried (staked), the bigger the harvest will be.
Liquidity
Users on Squirrel wallet can provide liquidity to pools. By placing your tokens into the a Liquidity pool, it means that NUTS and other tokens aren't hoarded or stuck in limbo. They will be used provide exchanges for other users within the liquidity pool.
As a reward for providing the liquidity the Squirrel AMM will reward these users with liquidity provider (LP) tokens.

At any point, users can withdraw the tokens to be used or transferred. This can be done as well on the Squirrel Wallet Liquidity Tab
Simply fill-in the required amount of liquidity and the Squirrel AMM will return the tokens to the user
The Squirrel system allows users to easily and seamlessly earn rewards only possible on a decentralized system in providing liquidity to others.
